Katherine Wheeler’s Ceramic Jewelry

Rock Coral Bangles by Katherine Wheeler

Katherine Wheeler  is a Central Victorian artist, based in Castlemaine. She graduated from a bachelor of Fine arts, Gold and silversmithing at RMIT  and previously a Diploma of fine arts at RMIT. Wheeler makes sculptural jewellery and hollowware that combine materials like silver, porcelain, paper and thread. Her beautiful pieces are often coated with white paint, to create a new skin for their anthrophomorphic forms.

Thomas Barbèy

Thomas Barbey‘s surrealistic images fascinate by their real unreality. He grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and started drawing seriously at the age of 13, using black “encre de Chine” and gouaches for color. His influences were Philippe Druillet, Roger Dean and H.R. Giger. After living in Geneva for 17 years he decided to move to Italy, in Milan for 15 years making a living as a successful recording artist, lyricist and fashion photographer. Finaly he resides in Las Vegas and travels the world, taking pictures wherever he goes.
