Eclectic Home in The Netherlands

Pinned Image

The house belongs to Ineke van den Berg, an interior designer who lives in the Netherlands. She mixed various styles to achieve this beautiful ecclectic feeling. Gray shades, bold black and natural wood , work wonderfully with art deco and gustavian style furnishings.

Concept Store in Amsterdam

Sukha seems to be one of the most beautifull stores in Amsterdam. A home accessory and clothing store located on Haarlemmerstraat. The name means “happiness” in Sanskrit, and hapinness is what it reflects! White walls and floors, natural elements and recycled materials. Most of the productsare vintage or made from recycled materials.

When Art Dominates

An apartment in Denmark where abstract art dominates the space. It belongs to Stine A. Johansen, a jewelry designer who decorate it herself mixing classic and contemporary pieces with vintage findings from flea markets.

Beautiful hardwood floors and white walls create a background canvas for all these gorgeous art pieces. You can hardly notice anything else!

Artistic Murals In A Copenhagen Flat

Copenhagen Flat Murals And Artistic Strokes In A Fab Copenhagen Flat

A beautiful Copenhagen Flat with artistic expression belongs to Christina Eivor Wallem Hvims and Frederik Lassen Hesseldahl. Styled by interior designer Katrine Martensen-Larsen of KML Design, this unique living space of  93 square meters is located in a residential building in Nørrebro, Denmark. In the dining room we see an amazing mural painted by the owner. A beautiful black panther painted on the wall and accentuated by the rest of the mural painted in bold colors. I love also the dining table surrounded by some of the most famous design chairs!

A Colorful Vintage Girl’s Room

A very special room full of bold colors and theatric style. Combining vintage furniture and stylish accessories a room with character is born! Pinned Image

Most of the furniture are family heirloom while other stuff came from flea markets. After some serious painting they got a second chance in life. On the wall we see a really fancy wallpaper and above the modest pink bed they hang a big cute bow!  Noticed the hammock and the swing? A kid’s paradise that is!

There are not one, but two different lighting fixtures on the ceiling! I love the carpet – gras with the big flowers cushions!!

Fruit crates were painted in various colours and repurposed as toy shelves.  All in all a really beautiful room!!

An Eclectic House In Sweden

Sometimes it only takes a picture to fall in love with a space. Like the lovely picture above. Just couldn’t take it of my mind! So I was very happy to find pictures from the rest of the house. And yes…..it is all gorgeous!  It is located in Skane, Sweden and it belongs to a happy family. It is also decorated for Christmas but we don’t mind, do we?

Various styles mixed together, the famous scandinavian blended with ethnic and classic elements create an eclectic house. Oh yes….I’d love to live there!!
