A House In Australia

Lately I find my self to love the australian deco style. Like this beautiful and moody house near Castlemaine in Victoria that belongs to Luke Mortimer. He loved the place, built a house and named it Grey Gardens

He rents the place to couples that look for the perfect refuge from the busy noisy town. In his blog he shares his deco adventures!

Most of the furniture are flea market finds or even street finds.

I absolutely love the drum-nightstand! The art above the bed is actually an embroidery made by his grandma.

An Inspiring Vintage Toddler Room

A stylish, vintage toddler room from the Dutch 101woonideeen. Lovely colors combination, interesting furniture like the old school chair and unexpected elements like the industrial lamp and the farmhouse armoire. Aiirplanes is the main theme and what a clever idea the folded table behind the bed.  A very creative and pleasent child’s room!

A View Inside The Temporary Showroom

Just in the last post we talked about Collector’s House, the ravishing home of Alketas Pazis.  Now we’ll have a look at his trading house in Athens, the Temporary Showroom. It has been operating as a prop house for the filming industry and contributed to the sets of more than 950 commercials and film productions. Located in a 400 m2 factory from the 50’s, it offers the most extensive collection in Greece while it focuses on the avant-garde modern movement.

Enjoy the beautiful pictures!
